American as Apple Pie

Did you know it's National Apple Month? Yet another reason why I love October ☺ How will you celebrate? I recently played one of my favorite games Apples to Apples with my brother's family as we dipped sliced apples. I love to throw Apple Parties, like this one with my college roommates:

Have fun folks! Go bake a pie or get some gooey caramel and have a party!

City Lights

I recently moved to the Phoenix area and a couple nights ago, I was driving from the east side to the west side to visit family. While on this drive, I was reminded of one of my favorite things:

I love seeing these city lights!  No, I didn't take this picture...are you crazy? I was driving on the I-10 when I saw this gorgeous sight! It was even more beautiful in real life. It made me happy ☺
Another favorite is the lights at Tempe Town Lakes, especially driving over it all on the 202 Highway. I don't have a picture to do that one justice, so take a drive sometime to see what I'm talking about! Try to keep your eyes on the road, though ;)
