When all your DREAMS COME TRUE! ♫ Like when I recently went and saw WICKED (quoting a song from it)...that was a dream fulfilled and I was VERY happy ☺
I often catch myself thinking (and saying) things like:
"I will be so glad when I have my own classroom rather than subbing!" or
"Oh, I can't wait till I can teach music again!" and
"Life is gonna be so great when I am finally done with this Masters Degree and I won't have homework anymore!"
Funny though, lately, in spite of all those AWESOME plans happening in the furture, I am surprised by all the blissful moments I have been having NOW. And I'm totally in a weird place in my life...but I am so happy!! I feel like I've been progressing toward something and I love that feeling. Sometimes I have moments where I feel so excited about something I learned in my courses. Often, I feel grateful for ideas I pick up from other teachers while subbing and observing. What a wonderful time it is for me! The journey towards fulfilling my dreams is proving to be so amazing and fun.
So yes, happy is what happens when your dreams come true ☺ But I am finding that happy is also what happens along the road. I am enjoying this time in my life right now! I won't have it again and I feel grateful for these opportunities that keep coming to learn all I can.
