The Folk

For some of my music students, I've been teaching (and learning myself) Folk Dances. So fun!! Besides having to dance with partners *cooties!* the kids enjoyed it too! My favorites were The Virginian Reel and Jacob Hall's Jig. I wonder if I should've been born in the 1800's?? It's in my blood to love those old country fiddle tunes and dances. Too bad we don't dance like that at parties these days, eh? ☺ Because, of course, that would be weird...
